GDPR Compliance

At PlayPosit, we take the privacy and security of our client data seriously. We have made necessary changes and documented them in our Privacy Policy to comply with all relevant data protections laws, including the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, effective May 25, 2018.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a new law that is designed to standarized personal data and privacy right of all individuals in the EU. It provides companies with specification on handling user data and gives individuals improved rights to processing data. Below outlines how PlayPosit is committed to GDPR compliance.

You can access PlayPosit in 3 ways: as a guest on the site, as a builder of content and as a viewer of content. When you signed up for PlayPosit, you provided consent for us to collect information needed to provide you with our service. See more details regarding this in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Note: We only ask for the minimal amount of information required and do not share any of your information with a third party under any circumstances. You can withdraw this consent at anytime by reaching out to help@playposit.org. This includes the ability to modify, delete, or transport personal data on PlayPosit.

The GDPR requires a legal mechanism by which data can be transferred cross-border or outside of the EU. The Privacy Shield Framework is one way data can be transferred legally, cross-border, from the EU to the United States. PlayPosit is certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield to be compliant with this requirement of the GDPR.
