LMS Privacy Policy

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • This article only applies to partners with an Institutional license who are using a Learning Management System

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is defined as the information that can be used to distinguish or trace an individual’s identity, either alone or when combined with other personal or identifying information that is linked or linkable to a specific individual. For more information, click here

Upon LTI launch, Learning Management Systems pass information on the course/user (course name, user email, user name) to PlayPosit. The PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is generally name and email (though these fields can be opted-out and instead PlayPosit could receive an LTI identifier but then instructors would not see names for learners). The information we pass back to the LMS is the score of the PlayPosit bulb.

PlayPosit never sells any information to third-party vendors or partners.

See more details regarding this in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
