Ethos

Launch PlayPosit from Ethos

1. Log in to Ethos and navigate to the course you would like to add bulbs to.
2. Select the Course Outline tab, find PlayPosit with the dropdown menu, and click on Add object.

   

3. On the popup window, select PlayPosit on the left side and click Select.

4. Click on Enter PlayPosit on the popup window.

5. After launching into PlayPosit, please follow the steps in this article to create new bulbs.

Assign a bulb to learners

1. Log in to Ethos and navigate to the course you would like to add PlayPosit
2. Select the Course Outline tab, find PlayPosit with the dropdown menu, and click on Add object.

   

3. On the popup window, enter the title and description for the assignment.

4. Select PlayPosit on the left side and click on Select.

5. Click on Set Link on the popup window.

6. Find the desired bulb on the My Bulbs page, and click on the LMS icon beside it to link it to Ethos.

7. Select the learner experience and click on Link.

1. Self-paced: Assign this bulb for learners to take it on their device asynchronously at their own pace.
2. Broadcast: Assign this bulb for learners to complete the Bulb synchronously in class. Click here to learn more.



8. Click on Update to save the new object.

   

9. Click on Save outline to save the progress.

Assign playlist, peer review, and learner made bulb to learners

Instructors can follow the same workflow as assigning bulbs to assign playlists, peer review, and learner made bulbs to Ethos. Please see the articles below for more information.

Monitor learner responses

1. Select the Course Outline tab, and click on Settings behind the desired PlayPosit assignment.
2. On the popup window, select PlayPosit on the left side and click Select.

   

3. Click on Enter PlayPosit on the popup window.

4. Navigate to the  classes page with the sidebar menu, and click on the desired class name.

5. Instructors can see all the bulbs assigned to this class. Please click on the thumbnail image of the bulb and select  monitor to enter the monitor page for this bulb.

7. If instructors have updated learners’ scores on the monitor page, please click on the Sync Grades button on the top to send the updated grades to Ethos.

8. After viewing the monitor page and closing the window, please click on the cross on the top right corner of the setting windows to close it.
